anyone know the measurements to drill the holes on the hood for the side emblems for a 56 f100 ? my hood was not from a 56 and the holes that are there don't line up with the 56 f100 emblems that i bought from dennis carpenter . any one else have this problem ?
Wish I could help but my hood is buried up in the barn right now. Do you need to know the pattern of holes or where the pattern is located on the hood? If you need the pattern, can you get it by carefully measuring the emblems?
need the stock location or position on the side emblem, i could just eyeball it but i wanted it as close to stock as possible. i would think that the guys that use the glass hoods don't have the same problem?
Dave, put your address in a private message to Gavin. The spammers are getting very good at grabbing your e-mail address directly off messge boards. That's one reason why FTE tries to protect you by removing any e-mail addresses you post. The spammers are also getting better at decoding our attempts to beat them by breaking up addresses into text like "myaddress at webmailer.com" sometimes used by folks on the board. Don't ask how I know that.
thanks Gavin
I am a newbee at this and i can't send a private message yet can you send your contatct info to my username viayae who . thanks for your help and i will have to post more often to get out of the newbee status !
