Fender emblems on a 56

Fender emblems on a 56

My 56 has no f100 emblems on the side of the hood. The vendors carry chrome or chrome with red. Which is original (correct) for a custom cab truck?

Chrome with red is factory correct. some venders sell them with the F O R D letters painted black and the F-100 circle background red, this combo is incorrect. It must be all red to be factory correct. I have many factory photos to prove this.

Bob Drake in Southern Oregon has the correct version - look him up on the internet.

Also, (I throw this in where ever possible) I'm looking for emblems for a 56 F350. Any body have any ideas for a vendor?? New or used is OK! I've got a set for a 56 F100 - I'd be glad to trade!!
