Talking my new Bronco!

Well I just spent all of yesterday retrieveing my 1st Bronco from 3 hours away in NY. What a beast! It is a 79, has a built 400, dual plane Edelbrock intake, Edel. 750 4 barrel carb, dual exaust, and 4" lift. It also has a lot more rust than I was told of but it still was a good deal. It has a blown C6 that I have to replace, broken steering columm that Heath gave me a replacement for (really nice guy), 2 rotted doors, hood is shot, and the usual rotted tailgate. Also the rear bed is rusted thru and skid plate is almost completely rusted off! Good news- the frame and rest of the body are very good (it's been done over already), no bondo anywhere, even door openings are hardly rusted, and it's been duralined or something of that sort. I have a lot to do but I can't wait to wheel it. I have a nice set of 35" baja belteds on my CJ7 that I'm selling that I'll put on this. Once those pop or wear out I'll go to 38s and some BL.
Paul

Actually only the tranny is the bad part. I'll just replace the doors for 40 bucks each and tailgate will be like 60. The bed Ill fix with some plate steel and rest of body is great. So the newly built, cammed and bored 400 and acc. dont add to value? Oh and whats a tank skid cost, like 10 bucks from a yard? And of course I understand a stainless dual exhaust is worth nothing. Yea I got raked....
