Cough under load
I had this post wrote once but delated it,So I will try again.
I have a 77 F250 with a 351M it only has 12000 miles on it.We use it for pulling our 5th wheel.Just recently when getting on the gas to merging onto the freeway it would cough two to three times. Other then that it runs great. I have changed pluges,wires,gas and air filter.

Cough as in spiting and spudering? Does it only happend when pulling the 5th wheel or all the time? What carb do you have on it? Might want to check the accelerator pump on the carb. Might also be a vaccum problem.
