How many F-150 owners with the 302 in their trucks have done the little things to enhance the performance; i.e throttle body/manifold spacers, ignition, headers, chip, cam (I consider this a small task), things of this nature.
Headers/Exhaust, CIA, advance the timing and underdrive pulleys. That should definately be an improvement as per the seat-of-the-pants dyno. Those are the simple upgrades.
Save your money, a throttle body spacer on a port injected engine does nothing but make an annoying whistling sound. Headers, exhaust, opening up the air intake and bumping the timing to 14* make noticable increases in power. Then there is underdrive pullies, electric fans, Edelbrock EFI truck intakes and bigger throttle bodies. I've done all of these mods and they all add up
