A Silly Question?

On a 1983 4.9L 300 6cyl-van, standard carb-single barrel, where would the idle mixture screw be located? I'm getting old and blind and need some direction!!

I'm not sure were its located on your van but on my 77 F-150 its on the passenger side of the carb on the bottom toward the back. Hope this helps!

yeah, that's where it is in mine, look at the bottom of the bowl on the passenger side. 77 ford f-100

find where your throttle cable hooks to the carb...it's the spring-adjust screw on the engine-side of the throttle fitting....
