brake upgrades
Hello everyone --
Is anyone aware of a brake upgrade kit for the F150 that's not ridiculously expensive? I'm only getting about 20K miles out of a set of front brakes, and have to replace the rotors every other brake job. My local shop is using high quality components, presumably OEM equivalent. I've got a pretty laid back style of driving, so I don't think that's an issue. (I've always gotten decent brake life out of my vehicles until this F150.)
I did a Google search on brake upgrades, thinking I might find something that would last a bit longer. Found a kit, but the price tag was over $1000, though.
Is anyone aware of any upgrades that would give better brake life without breaking the bank up front?
