Long headers
Just traded my 88 longbed for a 94 flairside 302 ADO XLT 4x4. Current exhaust is single. Interested in true twin exhaust, two cats, but what about the O2 sensor? Currently I have one heated. Will that work or will I need one in each bank because the pipes will no longer run together? What about placement in the pipe(s)? I have read placing the O2 sensor in an other than stock position causes problems.

I have the hedman elite series on mine pain in the butt, but they make a huge diffrence. Call up Hedman and triple check make sure the drivers side won't hit your driveshaft I have the manual tranny and it rubs my header. Along with when you get them check them over well my passenger side header is rusting they told me they cant do anything, and my drivers side one of the primany to collector welds wasn't completed and I was told it was cracked due to stress so make sure first. Run a Hpipe between the 2 pipes to keep your scavenging and put the o2 in there if you can get your pipes pretty close to the collectors.
