4lb pully

Where do you find and order a 4lb pully? I can't find one in any after market Mag. I all ready installed the 2.92 pully on the eaton, dyna S. S. headers, custom programed chip and drop in filter. Current dyno at 426 H.P.

Not in any special order

Lightning Force Performance
JDM Engineering
Powersurge Performance
Johnny Lightning
Metco
Razers Edge Motorsports

Try all of them and compare prices. You may have to do a reburn afterwards. Just to be safe, check the A/F ratio after installation.

Would adding 4lbs. boost to 8-9 lbs. boost put to much strain on the stock engine?

I know plenty of guys that run 14lbs (6lb lower) of boost and have no problems. If you have an 02 or earlier you may want to keep an eye on your plugs after adding extra boost.

Thanks, it is an 02 Harley with the 03 lighting frount drive assy. on the Eaton, Why keep an eye on the spark plugs? The Ford dealer shop said the heads can fail and blow #5 plug out of the head.

These mod motors (especially 5.4 for some reason) seem to blow a lot of plugs, especially under boosted conditions. This was discuessed over in 99-03 forums, you may want to check it out. I would get under the hood every few weeks with a socket and see what shape your plugs are in, and if they are tight and gapped correctly.

+4 is fine on a stock block. It's nice to have more plug threads in the 2003/2004 heads.

Torque is a bit low, but that could be due to lack of backpressure(L's seem to really like it). Flowmasters on the L's are notorious for losing torque, not to mention you have the headers and I bet you also have had the cats removed. Usually on a nice day (non humid below 75*) a Lightning with a chip/programmer and a #4 pulley (12lbs) should be ~400rwhp with 500 rwtorque. Get a bit of backpressure and your torque should increase.

Your right the dynatech headers come with new high flow S. S. cat's. The new 4lbs pulley should put me at 12lbs total boost even at 7000 ft. Currently running at 8lbs. boost, seems to make no diff from flag. to Phoenix, 7000ft. to 1500ft.
