eaton 112 oil?

what kind of oil, how often to change it, and whats the level indicator?

I asume maybe the allen plug on the front middle?

also, not being a supercharger genous, should at idle the super kind of rattle, mine does, not badly, but sounds like the screws rattling a bit, should I be extremely concerned?

They take a special lube. You used to have to get if from Ford, but I think now it's available aftermarket. You drain and fill it through the Allen screw in the front. I think it's supposed to be good for life, but not 100% sure. A lot of the Eatons have a rattle at idle, but it seems to be more common on the M90. There is a plastic coupler in there between the driveshaft and rotors that wears out and rattles. Magnusson products sells the stuff to fix it; you might have to buy a whole snout kit to get that stupid coupler.

Thanks, it's not real loud, maybe I'm paranoid, I just don't want any MAJOR malfunctions.

Go to a Pontiac dealer and get the supercharger oil for the GTX, it's the same stuff and like 1/2 the price that Ford charges. You should only need one bottle.

You'll find most of what you will need to get rid of the blower rattle here.></O>

There may also be supporting vendors of this site that can assist you. I'm new to this site so I haven't visited all the sites yet.

If the rattle is only very slight it may not be too much to worry about just yet. Keep an eye on it though. Good luck.
