Question Mail order/online parts ordering questions

Hey guys! spring is here!!!! Been busy spending a lot of time in the shop working on the '51 the past couple weeks, the custom bed box is almost ready for primer and fenders! The question I have for everyone is, has anyone ordered parts from LMC truck? My local Ford truck parts guys is getting out of the business of truck parts and now I'm looking else where to by body parts i need.....another question I have for the '51-'52 owners is has anyone used the "4 in 1" dual gauge sets and how well was the install and use after you got them in? I'm looking to use a set and just wanted any heads up that I can get.

Thanks for your time!

Todd

I've ordered a few minor items and had no problem. Mostly used Carpenter, Mid-50's and Obsolete Ford Parts.

I'm with fking. I don't care for LMC. They are great for some of those rare obsolete items but I get better service from Mid 50's. My favorite is Blue oval parts (ask for Larry), but he doesn't carry a big selection.

I would also suggest National Parts Depot (NPD) they seem to be the least expensive of the group, with good availibility. They're always cheaper than carpenter by 15-20%
