cold air intake on 93 f150

i have a 93 f150 5.0L and i was going to make a cold air intake and i was wondering wear i should put the air filter at the end my main consearn is it geating wet, also on my truck there is 2 hose that go to the air box so should i do a dual cold air intake with 2 air filters? and there is also a little hose about 3/4 and it goes from my air box to wear the oil cap is what should i do with that?

Dual filters will work good, as well as putting a y pipe where the throttle body inlet is and running one large diameter pipe from there to your air box with a high-flow filter. Or have the one large pipe going to a open element high-flow cone filter. This will work very well as well. I did the y thing going to an open element k/n cone filter. And set it in the stock box's bottom tray. (i removed the top half of the box) This way it still gets some cold air coming from the outside through the stock airbox inlet but with a larger filter with a better coverage area, it also gets air from all directions under the hood. Beware, it does get dirty pretty quick, especially the top half that is open under the hood. Also don't worry about the water, it souldn't interfere w/the filter, at least mine hasn't.
