I have a 95 F-150, and I need to replace both inside and out window seal. This is the one that the window sides through, at the bottom of the window. What is the easy to install these?
Also one of my windows slides up like its off track and squeaks loud. Whats my problem here? I would like to fix it while im going to be working on them anyway. Thanks!
LMC carries all of the parts you need. I got lucky and found a doner truck for parts. The doner parts were worn, but very usable. I have found that lithium grease on the gears on the regulator works well. also, the channel under the glass.
You remove the vent window assembly also. Very easy job once you figure it all out. Having never done things like this before, I was pleased with the outcome. I had a small air leak between the vent and the door, but a careful re-adjustment of the vent assembly (and a good cleaning of the mating surfaces) cured this problem. Now, I can hear the truck rusting as I drive down the road instead of the whistling winds around my glass
