Manual to auto swap
How difficult would it be to change a standard to an automatic on a 4.2 litre 1997 ford f-150? I figure drop the standard, bolt up an automatic to the 4.2 with a floor shift and run a couple transmission cooling lines to the front radiator. Is there anything I havent thought about? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
PS-The reason why I want to do this is I have a spare truck I want to give to my son but he is not compatible with a standard so we want to switch it over to an auto.
