injectors
Hi.
Is replacing injectors a big job, i havent worked on a diesel engine other than change filters and oil and brakes.What does it consist of?Is there any timing involved? First time Diesel owner. 6.9 Ford250 any help is appreciated. Thanks

pretty easy. loosen injection line from top of injector, move line carefully out the way, use socket to remove injector - make sure the crush washer comes out of the bore on end of injector and dont get dirt inside hole while doing so. reinstall new injector with crush washer and tighten to 35 lbs/ft, tighten fuel line and go. Just move the line enough to get socket on injector.
