Hey everyone... I have a question that hopefully someone will
beable to help me out with.. I have a 92 Ranger STX with i'm
guessing stock P235/75R15 tires/rims on it and I'd like to go
to a bigger tire..
Does anyone know what the biggest tire would be that I could
fit onto the stock rim without having any problems with rubbing
or will I have to get new rims? I don't really use the Truck
for off road, but am planning on eventually adding a minor
lift to the truck down the road...
Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance..
Your LT235/75R15 is 29.0 inches high and 9.0 inches wide.
You could go with a 31x10.50R15 which is 31.0 inches high and 11.0 inches wide.
There is a size between yours and the 31x10.50 and of course there are sizes a little larger! Check out the link.
I am assuming that yours is a 4x4.
I am unsure that these will fit for sure, what do you think guys?
I think a 3" body lift first, then a set of 35X15X15 mounted on steel rims would look pretty good on it. But the axles it has will determine max tire diameter. The bigger the tires, the more likely a broken shaft at some point. It's a ranger - how big would you go?
