fund raiser for a idiot

The best thing to do though when involved in a topic that can head south quick is a to maintain an attitude that conveys your thoughts without saying anything mean about someone else's thoughts.
Self - Discipline everyone !
I was riding a M/C at 17 and sold my last one in Sept 2003.(35 years)
Here was guy in Calgary yesterday that wasn't as lucky riding his bike.

rocket boy is still in the hospital i think, hes starting rehabilitaion and physical therapy soon.
nothing is ever said about the girls, or how they are doing. the news channels and stuff are all concentrating instead on poor ol' kip.
I wrote a column for my school newspaper about the whole thing, and since then a number of people have called my house in negative response to my writing. it must be something in the water around here. i dont know. but it seems like on a local level, or in the case of his friends, everyone is in support of reckless and irresponsible behavior.
when i was a kid and screwed up, i had to pay for it out of my own pocket. no one rallied around me and held fundraisers when i rear-ended another car when i was 17. it was my fault and I paid for it out of my own pocket to avoid an insurance claim.
sure its sad that kip lost a leg over this, but its better than being dead! it should send a message to others that its not ok to ride that fast, but more so they should send the message that you'll pay for it financially as well as physically for the rest of your life.
maybe I'll start an auction on ebay for support of the victims of the accident, amber daniels and nikole kilpatrick. any bidders? lol
They have killed more people (mostly inexperienced riders) in the last ten years than Harley Davidsons have since 1902.
Mainly center punches...
To be honest - when I saw the drift (or thought I did) of this thread I wondered if I even wanted to go there. But the bottom line is that we drive responsibly. Or we don't...

It wasn't you -
And it wasn't me.
I added a bit before your post showed under mine, and it says a bit more.
Experienced motorcycle riders very much want to survive the experience.
The old ones are the paranoid ones - we watch what other people do.
- And we learn from everything we hear about
The bike don't matter.
The attitude might one day save your life.
