OK. I have to ask. What's the deal with this forum? Can we regular guys just not see that there are no posts (as shown by those zeros) or is the thing going over like a led zeppelin?

the webmaster ken has a post explaining what it is about. this area was set up for the paid fte members to use.
the yearly fee to help sponser the site is some thing like 16 dollars and is well worth the money. please take some time and read the guide lines and site announcements as ken takes a lot of pride in this site and makes many post telling us of the goings on and problems

I tried a search on this subject and found nothing. The problem is, there is so much info hereon and searches yield so much info that I just give up on finding the answer sometimes. I'm not bashing here, just wondering. I can surely understand WHY they came up with this forum--don't really know what one would discuss in a members only forum, though, that wouldn't be better suited to the existing forums.

$16 isn't a lot, but when everyone wants your $16, one has to pick and choose. It is akin to all the trade magazines I get--the advertisers pay for the privilege of having consumers see their ads (same goes for websites).

I just had to pay McAfee their blood money to keep my computer safe so I can come here--so there goes two years of premium fte membership.

The ClubFTE forum is hummin' along quite nicely!

Regulars just cannot see the post count or anything.

We have a bit more freedom with our subjects & content up there. Meaning: it is a bit more adult but is still PG-13 not like PG in the regular forums.

i look at it as the best 15.95 or 99 that i have ever spent. i don't care about the extras that come with being a paid member . it's the people i have meet and talk with.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=349667 here is where ken started giving us information on this area.

Yeah, it's all a matter of priorities. I realized right off that I was getting a lot out of this site, so joining was a no-brainer for me. When renewal time comes up in a couple more months, I'll plunk down the 16 bucks without hesitation. I don't really even take advantage of the benefits of membership, for me it's just a good feeling to help support this site. As for the ClubFTE forum, I'm still waiting for my name to come up so I can get activated, or whatever it is that Ken has to do so that I can in and check it out. I feel like life is passing me by! Oh well, I know that Ken's busier than a one-armed paper hanger, so my turn will come up eventually. -TD

Sounds cool, as soon as it gets an R rating I'll join. I doubt children are getting there parents permission to pay for a message board.

Still, I understand that not all adults wanna sift through R stuff either

Yes, the FTE Members forum is looking pretty good to only be up for about a month. I like it beacuse we can talk about more mature topics. Pretty much anything and the language filters are off! We can't talk too bad though.

Thanks, Charlie. That's what I get for picking a username in the upper end of the alphabet! I should have picked A-holeDan or something like that! I knew he was going alphabetically, I just didn't know it was by username, I thought maybe it was by last name or something. Of course, going by username makes more sense, now that I think about it. Well, see ya in there eventually. I've got some jokes and links saved up that won't quite fly out here! -TD

The one things that a lot of FTE users don't know is : There is a difference between being an FTE Member/User than being an CLUBFTE Member which costs Money.

The amount or link to how you too can become an ClubFTE member can be viewed by clicking the Blue icon in any ClubFTE member's posts.

The special forum is the ClubFTE Members Forum

The perks to being a ClubFTE Member just keeps on happening

KT, You can send in a Money order by mail.
The particulars are in the ClubFTE discussion forum.
I answered a guy this morning on what to do

For those that aren't ClubFTE members,

The amount it costs is to join ClubFTE is Minisculecompared to the costs of dealership charges one would pay if they went there.... for work provided.
