Thumbs up Hello from SC, USA

Hello,
As a long time Ford Owner I have added a 2000 F150 4X4 to the collection:

My Ford History:

1984 - Bought a 1968 Mustang - 2 engines, 2 tranmissions, one rear end, 12 years of ownership. What a great car. I still miss it, but the wife could not drive it.

1994 - I married into a Tempo. Enough about that thing. Sold in 1996.

1996 - We bought a Contour V6. Great car. I still have it.

1996 - We bought a B2300. I would have bought the Ranger version, but my Ford dealer was being a jerk. Currently up for sale.

2000 - I bought a 1987 Mustang. Great car. I drive it everyday it's not in my workshop being made faster.

2005 - I bought a 2000 F150. The Mazda was just getting too small for my family needs.

I lurked here for months trying to find the right truck. It is perfect except for a small transmission clunk when coming out of overdrive.

Welcome Bob... your history sounds similar to mine. Except at one point I strayed and bought a Dodge truck. It served a useful purpose: convinced me how much better Ford was.
