I have checked your gallery several times and I am most impressed with the work that you are doing as well. I am anxiously waiting for your "it's alive" posting once you get the beast all buttoned up!
It's almost done, should be firing it up soon

If I find the time, I will do a comprehensive summary of my build, and give it to Ken for a Tech Article for FTE. It's been A LOT of work, but hopefully it'll show people that even if you don't necessary know how right away, you can get it done and make it work if you try. I started this build with very little hardcore engine knowledge, I would of considered myself the type of guy who understood how it works, names of parts etc etc, w/o any real working experience. I don't have anyone to help me, I have taught myself everything I know from FTE or other printed sources. 8 months later, we've got a custom 393

I did a good amount of research on intakes before choosing one, not one person disliked the eddie intake. Blurry94, I wonder if there was an issue because the cam was changed. I'm willing to bet he had that result because he used a mustang cam. The two parts just don't match.

Blurry94, your buddies rough idle issue sounds like it could be a vacuum leak.

It's very possible. I know those cams don't perform well in these trucks unless you advance them 3*. He may have put it in and just lined up the dots.

A few people I know installed that cam with 2* advance and produced noticable results over the stock bump stick.

Welcome to FTE!
Thats an answer that would need to start your own thread on, it gets deep, and expensive, to go carb, from EFI, and your 5.0 intake flows better than any other.
