Hello everyone,
I have a '71 F-250 that appears to be leaking fluid at the front left cylinder. I can tell because the brakes are very soft and there is evidence of fluid on the tire and around the drum. Can anyone send me instructions or refer me to a good website or book that would lead me through the process?
Thanks for whatever advice you can give.
Get a coppy of the chiltons and hayes manuals. the chiltons gives a good description of replacing the wheel cylinder and the hayes manual has a good diagram of the process.
You don't need a manual. You just have to take all the brake parts off first and then put them back. I just made a drawing of how they look and that was good enough.
