Hello, my bronco was making a weird nose lately,
is like something is rubing in the drivers front tire, but is very sporadic, first it make the sound at low speeds (25-40 miles) and it make the sound for about 2-6 seconds, and if i accelerate it's gone, and i can have this hassle for about a mile, and then it can be gone for some days, but yesterday it start just before going into the highway, so i keep my speed about 50 and it make the noise about 3 - 4 times for about 1 sec.
any ideas to what to look for? maybe the bearings?
or the gears?
please Help!!

I had something similar happen to my 90 F-150 4x4. At first I thought it was a bearing because it happened after I lifted my rig. But In my case, it was the catalytic converter rubbing against the radius arm bracket. It would sit there, and when the engine idled or when i was pressing on the brakes, it would made a strange, almost vibrating noise. Very sparadic. But I bent the cat away and viola, the noise is now gone.
Yesterday i bring the truck to the mechanic and he say that it sound like the transfer case to him, so hi'll put some grase on it , and see what hapens, i have troble with my speedo gear i'm wondering if it may be the culprit...
Thank's for yor answers.
