Emissions light
I have an '86 F150 with a 300 I6, and my Emissions light is stuck on. I know there is a box somewhere with a reset button, but I'm having trouble finding it. Anybody know were this is located and the procedure for reseting it? Thanks.

All I can tell you that its located under the instrument panel . Once you locate it , it will have a hole labelled RESET that requires you to insert a screwdriver in the hole & push in . Next turn the key to the ON position while holding the screwdriver in for 5 Secs . The light should go out within 5 Secs .

thats funny, my truck has no emission light,ita an 86 with a 300 too, or will that be the light last one to the left on the dashboard, because theres a spot for the light and the plastic indicator is gone and thers no light bulb, where there appears one would go. it doesnt matter because my truck is emmisions unfriendly.
