Holley Commander 950 TBI system
Does anyone have one? It seems like the perfect solution for me, but it's pricey to take a chance on it & hope it works. My truck is a work truck used for towing, plowing etc. I want easy starts, good cold weather performance and lot's of power for towing.

I've got the 700cfm version on my 390. It works generally good, and tuned correctly improves mileage, power, starting, and general drivability, but it takes a LOT of time to tune it right! It's not something you'll be able to do in an hour after you install it. Figure on at least a couple weeks of tinkering to get it to where it's running ok. Basically, after you get it running and idling, you go drive it, use the datalogger on the computer, and make changes accordingly. That takes quite a bit of time. Also you better have a laptop computer, since that's what it takes to program it.
If you're good at reading, understanding, and implementing instructions, then go for it.
