I purchased a pair of power towing mirrors for my 2003 F-250. The mirrors have round plugs and my truck has rectangle plugs. Does anyone know where I can find an adapter or a new set of the rectangle plugs?

 

I do not know of any adapter plug....maybe someone else knows of one.

 

I swapped my factory mirrors to towing mirrors a month ago. I got the tow mirrors from Ford directly. Each mirror had an adapter, I think it was round. I didn't need them but I may still have them, I'd be happy to check for you when I get home tonight.

 

That would be a big help. Let me know if you have them and how much you want for the adapters.

 

Took me a while to find them. Not sure if this is what you need or not, I'll describe the adapters and leave the Ford part numbers. I'd take a pic but someone is borrowing my digital cam.

Gray Rectangular (Female) on one end splits to:
White Round (Male) with 3 pins inside cylinder plug as well as (seperate wire) Black Round Female connector looks like it receives 2 pins.

If these are what you need just let me know - I have no use for them.

Hello i`m sure this forum is very old but i`m looking for those adapters

 

Well I swore that before I ordered my mirrors I never saw anything about round plugs in my Excursion... Low and behold there they are though... UGH... Glad I found this thread. A quick search on google and I was able to pick these adaptors up... $55 shipped for both... However now I have to wait for them to get here...
