Best Diagnostic shops
Hello all,
I'm determined to see an end to the ping and high emmisions on my truck.
I'm looking for an independent shop to diagnose the problem.
Can anyone give me an idea of the kind of equipment they will need to solve the problem?
I'm looking for brand names of scanners , engine anylysers(sp),scopes , which ones are the best?
Also , if the shop is AAA or ASE approved does that automatically mean that they have the right equipment?

Best Diagnostic shops
A shop can have all the diagnostic equipment in the world but unless the shop has the techs that understand & know how to use it , its worthless . If you are looking for an independant shop , either ask friends , co workers etc or look in the yellow pages . It all depends on where you live too , If you post what city you live someone here may know a tech that can help you out .
