ok so i got my gauges in the mail last week and finally decided that on my day off today i would install them,....went fairly smoothly, got everything wired and installed, including drilling and tapping the manifold, in about 4-5 hours. not to bad considering i took my time and had to go to the hardware store twice for parts....
so my question is, i got everything wired but i have the two wires left i need to hook up....in my directions it says the wire for the gauge lights, tap into a blue wire with a red stripe....well i found a blue wire with a red stripe but no lights in the gauges....
also i needed a 12 volt switched source for the power for the trans temp and pyro....i used a meter and fished around till i found a wire that was switched....spliced into it......well the gauges work but now i have the brake light and abs light on constantly....oops need to find a different wire...
so which wires should i splice into, need a 12 volt switched power wire and then i need the wire for the gauge lights?
