what if i used the wrong reducer

How bad is it if i accidentally used naptha instead of the activator with my primer?
It was pretty rough going on, but it seems to be adhering.

looks like when you paint over primer applied in this manner, it leeches all the reducer out of the paint and causes spider cracks.

I mixed the wrong reducer with some base coat just because it was saturday night and i did not have what i needed and the paint shop was closed for the weekend.

It cased my base coat paint to clump in the mixing cup. you could have pulled the green paint out off the cup with you hand and left all the reducer int the cup.

well no need to say it would have been cheaper for me to have waited until monday when they opened to just got what i needed

always look at what you are doing and make sure you check it because it will cause you problems in the long run

i messed mine up because i dropped the can of primer and lost about 1/2 gal. i was a little perturbed. needless to say, my mood didn't get any better after seeing my other mistake in mixing.
