The Spanner Wrench you need is about 4 in long , it will have 4 small square tips at the end of the wrench that fit in the indentations of the ratchet locks used to hold the hubs on . You can purchase them from any auto parts store that has a Lisle tool section , Ive seen them in Pep Boys . You simply put the spanner socket on a 1/2 drive ratchet , Apply inward pressure & turn at the same time , this unlocks the ratchet locks .

Are there diffrent sizes? Or will it simply say "ford spanner wrench"?
It will have the types of axles listed on the package. Most will say that they are to be used on Dana 44's, Dana 60's etc. Just choose the one for the 44 and you should be fine.
