Need 3U7A-FTE flash
According to Ford's documentation, the latest flash that fixes the cruise control issue of the motor quiting after a long deceleration on a hill is 3U7A-FTE for those of us with a 2003 6.0L engine. Ford claims that my flash done in October of 2003 is the latest for me, but my motor still quits on a particular hill near home. I am seeking any fellow members that have a Predator AND a 2003 F-250 AND the 3U7A-FTE flash AND the Interface serial cable to send me a copy of the flash. Predator's "Ford PC Interface" version 1.02 can send and receive flashes to and from the Predator. If any of you can help me I would GREATLY appreciate it. I can even email you the correct Interface program if needed! The Program will create a .frg file that then can be uploaded as a custom tune. As long as you have used the Predator modify the stock 3U7A-FTE tune, the original one is stored in the Predator and can be copied to a PC without touching your truck. Thanks for your help, Taztruck
