Dyno results

Had the truck dyno'd today. 307 hp and 689 ft lb torque. I was impressed with the torque number, it was higher then I thought it would be.

My truck got a lot of cheers from the crowd because they didn't hook up the hose to the tail pipe. I'm not sure why maybe it was too big, or too close to the tire anyways it was real loud and smokey!

1999.5 stick, bullydog, kwik filter, 5" straight pipe, wicked wheel.

Oh yeah a Duramax got on the dyno and kept de-fueling and cutting out so much that they had trouble getting a good pull out of it!

Good job on the dyno numbers. That is quite a hefty torque number. Looks like they got your truck strapped in right and put a nice load on it.

I asked the guy who put it on the dyno to be aware that the clutch might slip. It will slip once in a while in top gear on the top power setting.

They had some dealers showing their products. I'm getting the water/meth set up next. I thought it was only to keep egt's cool but they are claiming 50-100 hp. Seems like a good deal.

It is a good deal, but the HP #'s they quoted you are overly optimistic. 50HP is the realistic top end of water injection, and assuming your everyday mixture of water/meth. is less than 50%, it will be lower than that.
