what first

Hi I'm new to the site and I just got (last week) a new 2005 f350 diesel. I've got about 1000 miles on it all ready and am wondering what would be the first upgrade you would recomend. I would love to get a little better milage, I'm getting about 18 on the eway and 15 in the city and some more power is allways welcome.
thanks
Mike

Your mileage is about in line with what I've been reading on the site. What are you going to be doing with the truck? towing ? If you are what size and weight.

I'll be towing my boat (18' deep V) its only about 4000lbs fully riged but I'll be towing it about 130miles each time. I would say about 50% towing the boat and 50% just driving. I'm happy with the milage but I would not mind an emprovement. I guess I'm just finding out what's out there.

Read around on the site to help make up your mind. Most are going with the Preditor or Superchips Microtuner. I went with SCMT. Either one is great. The best bang for your buck. Have had mine for 23000 miles and no problems.
