Someone explain this one to me. I was at the dealer the other day and found that every V10 powered truck without a bed had the same size exhaust as a V8 powered truck. (Id assum 2.5"??) Now all the trucks with beds (pickups) like mine has 3.5" exhaust. Whats the deal? I always thought a little bigger exhaust (ie more flow) would give you a few more ponies. Any ideas?

 

The tailpipes come in 3" or 3.5", but the mid-pipe and muffler in-let are both 3"....So it really doesn't matter how big the tailpipe is aslong as it isn't smaller than the rest of the system.
