I have an '86 302 F-150 EFI 4X4 NP208 T-case 4spd manual trannie, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find a new rear driveshaft, Napa can't seem to get one.
Well its a slip yoke, magna is yours the one off the 88 f150? I'm going to have to measure mine to make sure its correct it says joint cap center to center, does that mean from the center of the hole at one end to the center at the other?
NP208F slip yokes can be gotten by themselves for not a lot of $$. NP208s are also relatively common. all 4X4 F-150s from 84-86 had them, and so did 87-90 I believe, whenever they started using the B-W 13-56.
208's stopped about 87, i have yet to see anything newer than an 87 with a 208.
But anyway take you old shaft into a driveline shop and since its a slip yoke measure from the end of the spline ouput on the t-case to the center of the rear yoke, take the measurement with you along with an old u-joint from the truck and the can make you a new shaft.
