OK, my tires are 215/75R 15s which are 26" in diameter. My rear axle code on the door tag is 17 which makes it a 3.25. I calculate about 2500 rpm at 60mph. I will definately think about getting bigger tires when these one wear out.

The 235 75Rs on my truck are 27 1/2" tall.
If you have a place, try doing the ol one tire rev. vr driveshaft to get true ratio.

On level ground and with someone to be there in case ya need them, roll the tire one revolution, and count the turns of the driveshaft. That will be your actual ratio.

You could hurt your milage with larger tires behind a 302, because it will have to work harder to turn them. There are a lot of variables that need to be figured in to get the best performance out of your truck.

Let us know what you find.
