Catalytic Converter ???????
ok i looked under my truck and theres a two piece Catalytic Converter. ford dealer tells me i have to replace it with a two piece. im looking on summit racing and they have a one piece for like $168 vice the dealer $900.. ouch..... so will a shop replace mine with a one piece legally? any suggestions on what kind or where to get one? reason being is im placing the motor with a remanfac. one and i want to replace the cat also. thanks

If you can cut the cats off yourself and have a mom and pop muffler shop weld your new cat on and it will save you alot of hassles. Alot of exhaust places are very leary about removing cats even when replacing them with an aftermarket cat.
