Touch-Drive-- Is this true
My wifes' 86 Bronco II has the electronic Touch-Drive electonic transfer case shift with auto-locking front hubs. Is this shift-on-the-fly or do you have to come to stop to shift. Also, I have a set of manual locking front hubs that I want to put on it, will this affect the operation ?? Thanks !!

This is a shift on the fly, you dont have to stop to shift from 2WD high to 4WD hight, but you do have to stop to shift from high to low range. The auto hubs work off the torge of the axle shaft and have nothing to do with the electonic auto shift on the transfer case. You can install the manual hubs with no problems. Though you wont be able to shift on the fly, unless your hubs are locked in before you go off road. Good luck
