PSD axles

Hello, what is the difference between the 3.73 axle ratio and the 3.73 limited slip in the PSD in terms of towing and mileage? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, I used the search but couldnt find what I was looking for. Thanks

There is no difference as far as ratio, they are the same.

the limited slip may give you advantage in starting the load on dirt, gravel or where on wheel might slip. we go to campgrounds that have grass sites and the old van would just spin it if it rained or got wet enough.

the 3.73 limited slip can help when towing to get the load going on loose ground, kind of like what haroldservice said. the limited slip wont affect your milege at all.
do a search on limited slip and you will find alot of info, basically i cant tell that mine is even there.

I can tell mine is there when I am on the sand, especailly towing a trailer on the sand. There is no substitute for having 3 drive tires vs 2 drive tires when the sand is dry and loose.
