CAn anyone tell me what would cause my b2 to almost stall on start up (causing my to goose the gas) after its been running awhile? Like after running into the store real quick and then starting the truck back up.
Sorry everyone for not replying sooner. I have a '90 B2 2.9L V6 Auto and yes it still acts like it wants to stall sometimes. Been busy lately...replaced all the u-joints in my front prop shaft, ran tubing from both diffs up higher so I wouldnt have to worry about any junk getting in them. Put manual lock hubs on recently after almost losing a tire in the woods(left front) when the auto hubs decided to desintigrate! Found out something tho! My 90 B2 uses the same hubs as an explorer. I am told that my year B2 will use alot of Explorer stuff since my truck is a 'transition' truck. Whatever...just makes my mods harder.
And as usual, I have a question.
I desperately need a rear prop shaft. It is making clacking sounds now at times and I am assuming that the bearings in the shaft are the source of the sound. But at the same time I think it may be the transfer case making the sound. Could someone point me in the right direction to finding a rear prop? I need a cardan style. Also Im looking for a engine rebuild kit or long block...any ideas and help are greatly appreciated!
