Third member ID
I have a third member laying on the floor and am trying to ID it. Where can i find out what rearend i have. Also how can i determine what the gear ratio is? I count 45 teeth on the ring and 16 on the pinion with a 28 tooth axle spline. I know the gears are ford 9". I would appreciate any information provided.

I believe you divide 16 into 45 which would give you a 2.81, but not certain on this. it could be dividing it the other way?? if it is all together and can be turned. mark your ring gear and count how many time your yoke turns to the ring gear turning once. hope this helps
