wont idle

need some help. truck starts everytime but wont idle. no check engine light.
took out chip. got codes read. nothing. drive know problem. help please got to work tomorrow.

The 7.3 uses oil to fire injectors.....may be low. Also might check air filter. Does it run alright otherwise..... no lose of power....starts right up etc.? Only problem is won't idle? Could be cps also.

not the cps just put that in 200.78 but now i have a spare

Feel pretty dumb now. It was the fuel filter cap was not tight enough so it was sucking air. thank for all the help.

Stay on this forum a little longer. You will see many questions and issues that are less complicated ( ie- dumber) than yours. It's always something simple, it's just a matter of finding it. Be glad you didn't spend a fortune on sensors before you found it.
Try to buy a CPS from international next time, it can save you about $100. A spare is definitely recommended.
