NC Chapter Online Meeting

For all those interested, we will be having an online meeting to discuss the creation of the North Carolina FTE Chapter. The meeting will be held in live chat tomorrow (Wednesday, April 13) at 8:00PM. If you're interested, please post here and/or keep an eye on this Thread for details. I will try to provide more information this evening, before 7:00 if possible.

Thanks.

Hey John...I was talking to Mill1on a while back about trying to get everything moving. Unfortunately the few people we had who were willing to be chapter leaders did not have the required amount of time as a member. So right now there's a few of us who are trying to raise interest in getting the chapter going.
Hopefully we can get everything organized and assemble a strong chapter for those of us in NC. Any help you can provide will certainly be appreciated...thank you for the offer.

From what I've read and been told, in order to be a member of a chapter you need to have been a member of FTE for 30 days. In order to be a Chapter Leader, you need to be a member for 60 days. We'll be required to have a chapter meeting , preferably not online. And we need to have 5 people who meet the membership requirement. There's some other minor things as well which we'll try to cover in tomorrow night's chat.
Our main goal of tomorrow night is to build interest, dtermine what needs to be done and who can handle it, and hopefully be able to start planning for our first meeting.

Go down to the Regional Chapter section and read Chapter Leader, & General Chapter forums for a heads up.

AJ I hope you can pull it off.

I also would be willing to hear what all is required. Allthough, I will be trying to get my kids to bed around that time. I will check back later and see what you have put together.

Dad nab it, I forgot about the chat. I have a wonderful memory, I just can't remember where I left it.

How did things go?

Went well. We have our minimum 5 poeple for the chapter, established a Chapter Leader, and are planning for our first meeting to be May 7th in Carthage. Send me an email with your contact info, and I'll include you on receiving the contact list and such.
