Manual Lever Position Sensor Adjustment?
I've condemned my MLP sensor, reason for this is the lack of tunability. My 4R70W tranny on my 95 F150 5.0 will only shift with the MLP turn all the way in one direction. Plus it won't start in neutral. I believe that's not correct.
Will purchase new one. Don't know what the procedure is for adjustment of this sensor. If you know, please send it on over, I'm stuck with this one and I don't want to ruin my new tranny.

if you are referring to the sensor that at the shift lever on the side of the tranny they are notorious for going bad. no adj. can be made. when you install new one you have to line it up just right with the marks. i replaced mine because tranny would do crazy thinks and it cleared up problems. they are about $80 bucks. they can be tested but that would cost 1/2 the price of a new one. as bad as those things are i would just buy one and put it on. bwana
