Torch Question....Propane?

When I said that the tanks were cheaper, easier to get filled and can be set on their sides I was referring to propane tanks. When I reread my post I realize how what I said could be confused. Dwoodler is right you should never use an acetylene tank on its side. If you want to use a torch steup lying on its side(such as lying down in the back of a pickup), propane is a better choice.
