Generator selection?
This is what I'm trying to replace; Wacker S.(E.?) This generator was rated 10.3kW, would put out a lot more in cooler weather, 20 HP Honda air cooled, between 360 to 380 lbs. Heres the kicker it was only 22 1/2" tall without wheels. The fuel tank was separate, and thats how they got the height down. This is important as I want to be able to pick-up truck it with top down. Heres what I'm looking at Porter Cable H10001S-W, Winco 12000HE, Yamaha EF12000PEX, Honda EB11000. They are at Steadypower.com. Does any one own any of these? What is the true height, without wheels, and if the fuel tank was removed, could the frame be cut down?
