Rear Diff Problems
I have a 1997 Expedition Eddie bauer 3.4 w/ LLS. Recently I've had a problem that when I start from a stop and turn slightly there is a drag coming from the rear. After alot of reading in the forums many suggested swapping out the rear fluid so I did with the correct synthetic lube and friction additive. Immediately after changing the fluid the prolem was gone then after about 30 minutes it came back. It seems to only come back when the car has been driven for 10+ miles. Is there anything else I can add to the rear diff to help elminate this problem completely before having parts replaced? I was considering adding another bottle of friction additive but I'm not sure if that would have harmful effects... Any suggestions????
