i just bought a predator from motorhaven and now cant get it to load. the vin number for the vehical comes up ??.??.??.??.??.??.??.??. does anyone know what that means or how to fix it?? because it will not save the original data from the ecu so it will not load. and for the no customer support. i have tried both motorhaven and diablosport and nether one are open on the weekend. so while motorhaven was very friendly while takeing my money now i have a 400 dollar paper wieght until i get some help. and no there is no diablo dealers near me to call, or see. so please someone out there help me fix my paper weight.

I know it's going to be hard (seriously I do) , but all you can do is just wait till monday and Ken and/or diablo sport will help you out. My guess is that you probably need a replacement and thats it. So don't fret, it'll all get worked out in the end.

I can't tell you anything about the Diablo people, but don't lose faith in Motorhaven yet. When they do get back in the office they will help you, and probably better than the Diablo folks can. Motorhaven has an excellent reputation on this site and I have heard from many members here who have had Ken and his staff go way out of the way to help a customer. They have even gone so far as to lose money on some deals to take care of the customer.
I know the feeling of finally getting the goodies and not being able to get them installed until Monday. It does suck, but I assure you that Motorhaven is as reputable a company as you will ever deal with.

I get best mileage on the "economy tune" 60hp, not the tow mode. What version of predator do you have, when you plug it in it should have a version like R19cz when it boots up, you might have a non-updated predator, and if that is the case you need to get a transformer and a serial cable to download the updated tune. Diablosport has excellent customer service when I have had any problems.
i had the exact same problem. you need to check and see if there is a performance chip attached to the computer. in my case there was a performance tune already installed into the computer from the previous owner. i didn't even know it was there. the predator will not read the stock tune if there is already a performance tune or chip installed. what i had to do was take the truck to dealer and have the computer reflashed which set the computer back to the stock program. then everything worked fine. it costed me $85 and about an hour to have this done. hope this helps
mine is supposed to be here tomorrow (monday) dont know if its been chipped, programmed or what. hopefully it hasnt, but at least it will give me five working days to work out bugs. i hate to get all worked up with anticipation and everything goes sour. am sure itll be ok in the morn, good luck!
why, just get in touch with Diablo direct they will help you out. had simliar problem my programer lost the stock tune my truck was stuck in (tow safe) setting. when you get ahold of them be in your truck with the programmer ready to plug in. Hope it works out O.K. I love my prediator it's great fun on the 100 HP setting and I love the littel black clout it can belch out on the tow safe setting........
here is how the story ends. i had to send the toy back home to motorhaven who sent it to diablo to be re- somethinged.then diablo will send it to me and then i get to play. while i am not entirely happy i do have to say that when i got ahold of a motorhaven person thursday, at 4:45. they were nice and told me the hole story with no bs and i got an answer in the 15 minutes before they closed. that is something that i will respect in a company. so while i am not happy about haveing to wait, because they told me the truth and with no bs i will purchase from them again.
