Ford is dropping the ball
Just got my vibrator back today after a week in the shop. I have an 04 FX4 scab 3.73 gears w/ the stock BFG's. Truck drove like a caddy for about 12,000 miles. Then, at about every 20 to 30 miles the truck would start shaking like I had a flat tire (didn't matter what speed). So, they installed the vibration dampner, and gave me brand new BFG's road force ballanced. What a surprise, drove it home and some old same old. When is "enough is enough" for the 04 owners. I have been researching this site for quite some time and it seems like any truck that has had a problem has never really been fixed - congrats to all those that didn't buy a lemon. The funny thing is my dealership played it off like they had never seen the problem before - what a joke. Too bad there isn't a better 1/2 ton on the market or I would buy it.

Don't give up yet. Go back to the dealer, and give them a chance to make right. If they can't find a nother dealer. That will at least give 3 times. Then you can start to talk about lemon laws...

It depends on the State; but yes, in Wisconsin. If you buy a vehicle that has (something like 3 unsuccessful repairs) you may file for the lemon law, AGAINST the dealer that sold it to you..
