I made a mistake once in the 6.0 forum by bad-mouthing the 6.0 PSD.
I wouldn't consider it bad-mouthing but they thought so.
Anyways, I got blasted big time.
That's why I only browse the 6.0 and not post anything for fear of retaliation.
The 7.3's and V10 guys seem to be calmer and nicer.

Maybe after all the bad press from early 6.0s crapping out, they are a bit sensitive - that and the big payment.
yup... you got me...! i love my 7.3...! i only hope that by the time i need a new truck, (many many many years from now), Ford has gotten the 6.0 up to snuff. I haven't driven one yet, i am afraid to drive on a Ford lot with my 7.3 for fear of being mugged by desperate salesmen...! Everyone i have met who drives the 6.0 loves it, but i have met some people who aren't driving it anymore because they hated it. I guess the jury is still out... i still wish they had kept the 7.3...
lol...i bought my 7.3 from my bro-n-law, he bought a new 6.0. We left his house and he tried passing me up, when I left him, he called on his cell phone and asked if he could have his truck back...hahahaha
My truck is at 100k miles. I was under the truck checking things out last night and noticed that there was no leaks other than the leak from the oil drain screw. I'll just replace the screw and washer to stop the leak.
Everything seems to be in good condition at the 100k miles mark.
I was told the 6.0 is A LOT faster than than the 7.3 though.
But the way diesel fuel prices are going up, I'm okay with being slower.
Keeping the rpm's below 2k is a sure way to gain mpg though.
not in my case and all i had then was dual open exhaust....so reguardless wha tyou were told, he didn't pass me...hehehe...I love my truck. Every time i add something like my tymar, I give him a call and tell him he needs to catch up....it usually produces a "F*&^% YOu"...
