Car Tranny (MTX75) question
I have a 2001 Focus with the MTX75 manual tranny. I know they sell "so called" short shifters for it but all they do is lessen the amount you have to move your arm and move the shift **** closser to the floor. What I would like to know is if anyone out there that knows trannies would know if there is a "true" short throw kit out there for this tranny. By saying "true" I mean a set of forks and cables that will allow the shift points to be closer, kinda like in a mustang short throw where you only have about 2 inches of travel from 1st to 2nd and about 3 inches from 1st to 5th. I know this is a long shot but I had to ask.
